Welcome to Island Pickle, Cape Cod’s premier Indoor Pickleball and golf facility. Built brand new from the ground up at 51 Evergreen Circle in Mashpee, MA, Island Pickle features 10 indoor pickleball courts, five Trackman® Golf Simulator Lounge stations, locker rooms, pro shop and a large multi-media sports tavern with indoor and outside patio seating.

Meet the Developer

Island Pickle is a privately owned facility of Cape Pickle, LLC and Cape Cod Pickleball, Inc., and is specifically designed for this Mashpee location. The founding developer, Bill Russell, aka “The Big Dill” is a long time Cape Cod resident with family eateries and catering companies in Osterville named The Pineapple Caper Cafe and The Pineapple Caper Catering Company, Pineapple Caper Mobile Cafe, Rise and Shine, and The Nest. These ventures are proudly primarily owned by his wife and daughter Tammy and Adriana (Tammy is in the blue hat  😊 )

Bill saw the need for a greater community recreation facility that satisfied many objectives beyond traditional recreation available at indoor facilities on Cape Cod. From that seed of an idea, this facility grew.

The Russell’s love the Bahamas, and particularly Exuma. From that the name of Island Pickle was born. The design of the tavern invites patrons to an inviting environment with a Caribbean island feel.

Bill is not afraid to make fun of himself as you can tell from the photos. But he knows full well what it takes to run a successful business too. He’s been doing that his entire adult life (well – his older years as he never really grew up). That fun and excitement carrys throughout Island Pickle. But it provides serious play too.
